Holiday Show & Sale Volunteer Sign-up

We can’t do this without you!

The OHAG Holiday for the Arts is our annual event to raise funds for the many visual arts programs we support in our schools and community.

Your help during the work-week leading up to the event, the Holiday Show, and a few work-days afterward is greatly appreciated. It’s fun to meet new members and get caught up with those we haven’t seen in a while as we do our work.

Please take a moment to look at the dates and work categories listed below and decide where you’d like to help. It’s easy to sign up:

Schedule for the 2026 Holiday Show and Sale

Decorating, Facility Preparation, & Set Up – Monday, October 12, 2026

Receiving & Wall Art Installation – Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Installation – Wednesday, October 14, 2026

Gala – Friday, October 16, 2026 – Wrapper, Jewelry, Lobby Host, Hospitality (Kitchen help, Food servers, Wine bar), Clean-up

• Cashier Station Recorder/Wrapper: Cut tags, confirm number of items sold, tissue wrap & bag customer purchases
• Jewelry – Assist customers & manage inventory
• Lobby Entrance Hosts – Greet & direct guests to ticket table, direct food drop-offs to kitchen
• Security – Rove campus & respond to safety issues
• Hospitality – Kitchen help, receive donated food, prepare food trays, deliver trays to/from courtyard, serve food to guests from trays and at serving tables, kitchen clean-up
• Wine Bar – Pour & serve wine to guests from wine bar
• Clean-Up Crew – Pick up garbage, remove tablescloths, fold tables, sweep

Cashiers for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 16-17-18, 2026 – Use Square Terminal to add sales & take credit card, cash, or check payment. Note that all cashiers must attend Cashier training on the afternoon of Thursday, October 15.

Saturday Sale – Saturday, October 17, 2026

• Cashier Table – Recorder/Wrapper: Cut tags, confirm number of items sold, tissue wrap & bag customer purchases
• Jewelry – Assist customers & manage inventory

Sunday Sale – Sunday, October 18, 2026

• Cashier Table – Recorder/Wrapper: Cut tags, confirm number of items sold, tissue wrap & bag customer purchases
• Jewelry – Assist customers & manage inventory

Inventory – Monday, October 19, 2026 – Batch each artist’s work, check off unsold items on provided artist inventory printout

Artist Check Out – Tuesday, October 20, 2026 – Check out individual artists, review/reconcile inventory, present paycheck to artist for sold goods

Dismantling Decorations & Facility Clean-Up – Wednesday, October 21, 2026
