Project Mini Art
Project Mini Art is back for the 5th year and we need your art!
This is our Call for artists, including family and friends, to create art using a 5″ x 5″ stretched canvas with 1-1/2″ gallery profile (provided by the guild).
Use your talent and imagination to create a piece of art with the proceeds from the sales going to the OHAG Scholarship program. Any medium that will fit on the front of the piece and will wrap around the sides is acceptable.
Three-dimensional work should not extend beyond 1/2″ from the surface. The sides of the canvas will need to be finished, but no hanging hardware is required. Please include a small label on the back of the canvas with the title of the piece and your name.
Schedule of Important Dates
- June 30, 2024 – Contact us to let us know if you will be participating and if you want 1 or 2 canvases.
- July 18 – 21 and July 25 – 28 – Pick up blank canvases at the Olive Hyde Gallery during regular hours.
- Tuesday, October 15 – Deliver finished canvases at the Olive Hyde Art Gallery as part of the normal OHAG receiving process.
- Friday, October 18 – Enjoy the Holiday for the Arts Gala Night. Saturday – Sunday, October 19 – 20 – Holiday for the Arts Show and Sale open to the public.
- Tuesday, October 22 – Pick up unsold pieces. We cannot store artwork that is left at the Gallery after the show. Let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you to the artists that have already signed up.
