Middle School boxART! Competition
Fourteen artworks by Fremont middle school students (grades 6–8) were selected for inclusion in the City’s boxART! program. The pieces were combined under the theme “Utopian Vision” into a collage design on a vinyl wrap, transforming a traffic signal control box at the corner of Country Drive and Paseo Padre Parkway into a vibrant public art display. A celebration with the student artists was held on April 25, with remarks from Fremont Mayor Raj Salwan and City Councilmember Kathy Kimberlin.
