We are delighted to announce that OHAG Ways & Means Chair JUDY ANGLIN and Member DMITRY GRUDSKY have been chosen as recipients of the 2024 Alameda County Arts Leadership Award.

This annual program enables the Alameda County Arts Commission to recognize individuals for their outstanding achievements and contributions impacting the arts community and the residents of Alameda County.

Nominations for the Arts Leadership Award Program were submitted by community members. The goal of the program is to celebrate and highlight the important work of our arts community leaders throughout the whole County. Award recipients represent the five district areas of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. Representing Supervisorial District 1 is Judy Anglin, and representing Supervisorial District 2 is Dmitry Grudsky and another co-recipient.

Awardees were honored by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors through the presentation of commendations. The commendations were presented by the Board of Supervisors at their public meeting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Alameda County Administration Building, Board Chambers. The presentation took place in conjunction with the County’s recognition of National Arts and Humanities Month of October. The Arts Commission has also featured the award recipients through the Arts Commission’s press release, website, newsletter, and social media.
